Girls Day Out

We all had a lovely 'Girly' day out in Southampton, shopping, coffee, lunch and then a show.

Guess where we went for coffee?

Guess which show we went to see?

I had seen the show way back in the sixties and it all came back to me, I was singing along to all the numbers, it was brilliant.

Thank you for looking at my LO.

Week 45 Challenge

This week challeng 'A Blast from the Past'
This certainly is the past. We got married nearly 34 years ago, 26th March 1977. Then we had a special 'Handfasting' - (a pagan wedding in 2007). We had the most wonderful time, this time it included our 2 sons and all our special friends.

SWU Challenge continues!

Well here we go again, after the break for Christmas I've managed to get up-to-date again.

Week 40 Something Scary

This week I found it quite difficult to think of a suitable LO, but came up with this one of my husband and our little grandaughter who was only 6 months, yes it is scary how fast she is growing.

Week 41 White Space
As everyone who knows me will know, I HAVE to fill in every bit of space, so this weeks challange was just that a real challenge. This LO is of a group of spiritual friends and
myself celebrating 'Yule.

Week 42 A Review of 2010

This challenge was a lovely one, except there was no way all my photos would
fit on one 12 x 12 sheet, not the size I printed them anyway!
So there was only one thing to do a double page spread.

Week 43 6 Things I love Right Now

This was easy! Except for the lettering - I cut it out using my gypsie - it took me 4 attempts to get it right - it was only when I was getting so frustrated and about to thrown the ........ thing out the window, my husband suggested I re-calibrate it, guess what - this is the result.
Moral of the story 'Never give up'

Week 44 Christmas / Holidays

We don't celebrate Christmas as normal, we celebrate 'Yule' so when My son sent me this photo of my grandaughters first chirstmas among all her presents, I just had to use it in this weeks challenge. A friend of theirs made Maisie a stocking with her name on it, and my other son bought Maisie the giant Minnie Mouse

Well that's my LO's hope you like them as much as I have enjoyed doing them.
Thank you for looking

S.W.U. Challenges

This is is the final 3 challenges to bring me up-to-date.
I think I have even managed to put them in the right order, lets see!!

This is wk 36 - Think Pink

This is Maisie in her pink baby grow she was 3 days old

This is wk 37 - Patchwork

I put faux cross stitch around the paper.

This is wk 38 - My proudest Moment

My son Ben is terrified of hospitals - 'faints' at the thought of having to go inside one,
but he was present at the birth of his baby daughter Maisie in June this year.
Well done I'm very proud of you

Thank you for looking at my LO's if you have any comments please leave them

S.W.U. Challenge

I'm finally up-to-date with the challenges, well for the time being any way!

I have had to add them to my blog in stages as there doesn't seem to be enough space to upload them all at the same time, they are also slightly out of order so be patient and keep looking!

This is wk 35 - Me in 2010

My greatest moment this year has been becoming a grandmother - Nana 'T',
this is Maisie and me in October.

This is wk 34 - The Great Outdoors

My younger sister and her family spend some time each year in Zimbabwe

This is wk 33 - My Secret
It's a secret so I can't tell you!

This is wk 32 - Magic

My son Ben was mad on 'doing' Magic, just like his Uncle Simon. One year we bought him a magic set, I made a cape and a top hat - poor rabbit, it was in and out of the top hat
so many time it wanted to disappear!
