S.W.U. Challenges

This is is the final 3 challenges to bring me up-to-date.
I think I have even managed to put them in the right order, lets see!!

This is wk 36 - Think Pink

This is Maisie in her pink baby grow she was 3 days old

This is wk 37 - Patchwork

I put faux cross stitch around the paper.

This is wk 38 - My proudest Moment

My son Ben is terrified of hospitals - 'faints' at the thought of having to go inside one,
but he was present at the birth of his baby daughter Maisie in June this year.
Well done I'm very proud of you

Thank you for looking at my LO's if you have any comments please leave them

S.W.U. Challenge

I'm finally up-to-date with the challenges, well for the time being any way!

I have had to add them to my blog in stages as there doesn't seem to be enough space to upload them all at the same time, they are also slightly out of order so be patient and keep looking!

This is wk 35 - Me in 2010

My greatest moment this year has been becoming a grandmother - Nana 'T',
this is Maisie and me in October.

This is wk 34 - The Great Outdoors

My younger sister and her family spend some time each year in Zimbabwe

This is wk 33 - My Secret
It's a secret so I can't tell you!

This is wk 32 - Magic

My son Ben was mad on 'doing' Magic, just like his Uncle Simon. One year we bought him a magic set, I made a cape and a top hat - poor rabbit, it was in and out of the top hat
so many time it wanted to disappear!

Thank you for looking, if you have any comments please leave them

Maisie's 1st Bath

I don't usually post Lo's other than the S.W.U. challenge on my blog, but I just had to add these of my new baby grandaughter having her 1st bath. I scrap lifted the design from a magazine, I thought it was so clever. I had wanted to use the magnets I bought ages ago and had so many pictures of Maisie having her bath, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to combine the two.

How I feel about?
Being a 'grandparent'
I LOVE IT

Martin decide he wanted to be called 'Grumpy' - I knew I didn't want to be :-
Grandma, Granny or Nanny - so decide on Nana 'T' as a friend had become 'Nana Lyn' just before Maisie was born, and I quite liked it. But in the end babies will call you what ever they want.

SWU 28

Traditions ~ I've tried and tried to get this picture straight, perhaps it's my camera!! I expect it is more likely the way I'm holding the camera.

I found this challenge very taxing, traditions - traditions - Christmas - no, family traditions - we have many but I haven't any photos of them, or at least none I would want to scrap. I was looking through my box of old photos when these fell out. They are of the drama group my husband and I used to belong to on the mainland. After the final performance we would have a get-together and put of a little show of our own, there was a great deal of talent in our company, people would sing, recite poems ect,. Some of the guys would dress up in the girls costumes and give their rendition of the main songs - with a difference!! My son at 13 yrs(wearing the blue dress!) enjoyed this as he was 'one of the guys', my husband is in the front row stage left. It's a bit worrying when both son and husband enjoy dressing up!!
